These are on-going classes where we explore the basics of pottery. We will be focusing on functional pottery while encouraging experimentation and creating your own personal style. In addition to class time, we have additional open studio time Thursdays from 6:00pm-9:00pm.

Wednesdays with Steven Hill

Wednesday, 1:00pm-4:00pm

With a mastery of form and advanced techniques in ceramics, Steven will assist intermediate and advanced potters the progression their ceramic skills through demonstrating and discussing thrown forms, manipulating forms, glaze application, the use of slip and much more. In addition to class time we have additional open studio time Thursdays from 6:00pm-9:00pm

Sample Class

Wednesdays 6:00pm-9:00pm

This is an opportunity for people to get involved with clay having no previous experience and with no long-term commitment. Sample classes include a demonstration on wheel thrown pottery and guidance for students as they throw their own pots on the wheel. Projects made in sample sessions are to be recycled at the end of each class. If you would like to keep your project a material and firing fee may be applied. Sign up online to reserve your spot. Group classes may also be scheduled to fit your needs.

Have your birthday party, troop outing, team building event or girls night out at 323CLAY. Bring your own drinks, snacks, music and simple decorations. Parties will include a demonstration on wheel thrown pottery and guidance for students as they throw their own pots on the wheel. Projects made in this class are to be recycled at the end of each class. If you would like to keep your project a material and firing fee will be applied.
